The past few months I've been thinking about all the cookbooks I have. I've probably purchased 5 in 2014. I read them like magazines & set them aside. Recently when I was looking for a cornbread recipe in the recipe drawer, I undiscovered this treasure, "Royal Baking Powder" booklet. The cover is gone & it looks like a mouse ate the lower front corner. I assumed it belonged to my mother. Curiosity got the best of me and I goggled it. The cooking booklet was published in 1922. It's monetary value is not much, but it's sentimental value is priceless to me. It means my grandmother used this booklet. A person can find any recipe on the internet. However, nothing compares to holding a recipe book that was held by the hands of your mother and grandmother. Priceless!
