Dehydrating

Garden related work always awaits me.  Today I sliced 3 gallons of my ORGANIC bell peppers and layered them in the dehydrator.  It will take about 24 hours for them to dry but in the months to come I'll have bell peppers at my fingertips.  It is a very economical way to preservse produce.  This evening about 8:00 pm I'll pick cucumbers and tomatoes.  I have to wait until late in the evening since the temps in Okla have been hovering around 100.  Way to hot for me.  Tomorrow I'm planning on making Apple Jelly with our ORGANIC Apples.  As I stated before, there is always garden related work waiting on me.

More ORGANIC garden tips soon from someone who is living it.  Have a great evening and plant someone soon.
